Astra kids space – Play School, Day care & Activity Centre located at Ramapuram, Chennai. It is equipped with all the amenities like fully air conditioned class rooms and lobbies, music room, computer room.
"ASTRA" is coined from the term "Astronomy" - the study of Stars. And, In Sanskrit Astra means “Weapon". We in Astra believe that KNOWLEDGE IS WEAPON.
Every child in Astra acquires their 1st Knowledge to lead the way through play, emerging out as STARS. Each child is unique and we try to study& learn to bring out a new, creative, innovative methodology of curriculum activities to ensure that we pioneer in educational services.
The modus operandi of Astra will be on the basis of Knowledge, Action and Care.
We at Astra believe that maximum learning happens during the early years of a child’s life where his mind is open to new ideas. It is essential to hone the intellectual, physical, emotional, social and moral skills at this stage so that the child stands well equipped for the rest of his life. Curriculum is based on developmentally appropriate education that challenges and encourages but never pushes. The joyous environment, child-friendly equipment, enticing toys and scientifically designed games, the love and warmth of teachers, who appreciate that each child is unique, take interest in each child’s overall growth.
