My experience with Vatsalya has been very short and unpleasant, and I'd recommend reader discretion while going through this review. Although it seems like this facility works out for most 'normal' scenarios, I found Ms Parinda pretty callous and insensitive with parental consent while admitting my 3 year old. My consent was never sought by the facility while admitting my daughter (my now estranged wife admitted my daughter without my consent) and when I communicated my discord regarding my daughter's uninformed admission to the facility by personally speaking to Ms Parinda, she would go on to convince me how disconnecting a child from the family and sending her to daycare would make her independent and social. When I explained to her that I belong to a joint family and my family and I are available during the day to take care of my daughter, as I work from home, she commented on the credibility of my family. It is well understood that a parent who is unwilling to admit his 3 year old daughter to daycare and is up for taking parental responsibility himself, is detrimental to Ms Parinda's business. However, I am extremely pained and dissatisfied with the callous attitude of Ms Parinda in examining parental consent before the admission and even while discussing the matter post admission. I would reiterate that Vatsalya Day Care might work wonders for parents who unanimously concede to opt for the facility's services. But unfortunately, it is extremely business minded and lacks any sense of integrity while entertaining admissions in the first place, especially when a parent seeks otherwise. Albeit rare, but separated parents with shared custody should particularly be wary of this place.
